Felice was my neighbour the last 9 years I was in London, as his restaurant's kitchen led into the garden in front of my flat. Felice was one of the nicest, friendliest and most generous men I've ever met. Whenever we passed by, there was always an exchange of smiles, and often a good little chat. Occasionally, he would out of sheer spontaneity shrug off the bill for our takeaway meals, particularly in times of sorrow or distress like the night before I flew back to Canada for my father's celebration of life. Felice was a true Italian - he worked to live and live life to the fullest; he never lived to work. He was loved by the whole community for his vitality and warmth. There are so very few business people who put people first over money, which is why Felice Pollano stands out as a Lambs Conduit Street legend, and will continue to do so. I will always remember him as a local celebrity, and I will always miss him as a dear friend and neighbour.

Remember coming to the restaurant as a young kid many times and seeing you at work. Then after years come back to still find you working there. A lovely place and beautiful staff. You will be missed by all such a shame to hear of this sad news!
